During my 12 years living in the United States, I’ve had the privilege of immersing myself in various cultures and cuisines while mingling with friends from all over the world. Though each experience was precious, one particularly poignant moment was the L.A. riots. Through that experience, I resolved to make efforts to promote Korea and realized the importance of cultural understanding. I believe that when we understand and connect through culture, our society will be one filled with abundance and joy, free from violence and suffering. Dreaming of such a world, I continue to strive to promote Korea through my writing today on my blog, Joyful Culture!
